Implementation and Training
CaraSolva has developed a proven process for migrating an organization to the efficiencies and benefits of an electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR). Included in this for most organizations is the coordination required for the Pharmacy Interface.
Statement-of-Work: Pre-Implementation Planning and “Go Live”
Prior to implementation, a MedSupport consultant will contact you to schedule a SOW (Statement-of-Work) kick-off. This pre-implementation conference call is the first step in preparing your team to implement MedSupport®. You should expect:
- Dedicated Project Manager
- Detailed implementation timeline and schedule
- Creation and configuration of the Provider database
- Pharmacy Interface coordination with pharmacy, if applicable
- Program Administration training
- Pilot Implementation Consulting (PIC)
- Preparedness checklist, online training, and technical support
Our implementation process allows your organization to implement MedSupport® as quickly or slowly as you want based on your needs and resources. With MedSupport’s modular approach you are in the driver’s seat and control the “Go Live” switch at your locations.
Eliminate the need for staff to take time off their busy schedules to train new employees with our online training. Since time is money, allow your employees to train at their desks, when they have the time, and without the added costs of an in-house trainer. With our annual subscription package, your organization has unlimited access to CaraSolva’s training site. MedSupport Staff Certification is just one of the service-specific benefits of our online training offering. Online training courses are available by role (Caregiver, Coordinator, House Manager, and Nurse).
Program Administration Training
Program Administrator training is developed to assist organizations in customizing use-model and workflow of MedSupport to their specific needs. When you begin with MedSupport® and CareSupport®, many of the masters in the system will have been pre-set for you based on best practices. But as you grow or potentially add or change services, you may want to customize your application. An integral piece of the Program Administration training is “Train the Trainer”. Content is designed to enable Program Administrators to enable the DSP teams.
